Last weekend, Miss World 2011 Ivian Sarcos returned to her home country for a short visit. As Venezuela is a pageant fanatic country, you can expect a spectacular homecoming tribute to the newly crowned Queen, and Miss Venezuela Org along with its television partner Venevision certainly didn't disappoint. A special televised tribute for Ivian held during "Super Sabado Sensacional", full of highlights and historical moments, reached a spectacular 73% share of the viewing audience. Guest stars on the show include the Venevision Ballet troupe, Puerto Rican salsa singer Gilberto Santarosa, young singer Oscarcito, musical group Guaco, and a very special surprise visit from Ivian's roommate during Miss World 2011, Carla Garcia from Spain. Check out the photos and the stories behind the homecoming party here!

Miss World 2011 Ivian Sarcos being presented to the ecstatic audience by host Leonardo Villalobos. Villalobos is also the host of Miss Venezuela 2011 final event.

Ivian on the stage and being interviewed by Villalobos about her life and her experience as Miss World 2011.

During the show, Ivian was also presented in an Amazonian theme national costume. The costume is a tribute to the states Amazonas which Ivian represented during Miss Venezuela 2010. Ivian also wore this costume when she performed a hunting dance routine for "Dance of The World" segment at Miss World 2011 final.

Perhaps the most historical and emotional moment of the night. The 6 Miss World winners from Venezuela appear together on one stage. Up until 2010 Venezuela was tied with India for the record of Miss World winners, but Ivian's victory breaks the tie and puts Venezuela on the top of the list.

The present and the future. The show was also used as an opportunity by Miss Venezuela Organization to introduce the next Miss World Venezuela, Gabriela Ferrari to Julia Morley, owner of Miss World Organization. Gabriela will try to defend the Miss World crown for Venezuela next July in Ordos, Inner Mongolia.

Once a Miss World always a Miss World. Ivian Sarcos sat on the throne with her predecessors behind her, signifying Venezuela status as a powerhouse in international pageants.

Personal notes
I must admit I was not Ivian's fans during Miss World 2010, I was rooting more for Jessica Barboza (who ended up as Miss International Venezuela). But as it turns out Ivian is indeed the perfect girl to do the task. Not only tall, exotic, and beautiful, Ivian also exudes warmth and sympathy, a quality that a Miss World winner should possess. Out of the 4 Grand Slam winners of 2011, Ivian is personally the best one for me and I will surely follow her reign. As for the show itself, I think she truly deserves this spectacular homecoming party. Welcome home Ivian and good luck for your reign as Miss World 2011!
