The pageant was held on 7 March 2012 at the Puerto Marina Yacht Club in La Libertad with 18 participating contestants. The Top 3 winners of Miss Ecuador 2012 will represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2012, Miss World 2012, and Miss International 2012.
