As a celebration of Miss Universe pageant diamond anniversary, we dedicate this section for them. The beauties from all corners of the universe, who will fight to become the one and only, Miss Universe 2011!

Luo Zilin - CHINA (24 /182 cm)
One of the tallest contestant this year, Luo Zilin is a truly Asian gem. Ever since her victory, she has been favored by fans and "missosologist" around the world as the one to beat from Asia. She came from Zhejiang, an eastern coastal province of China, bordered by Pacific Ocean. Prior to her participation at Miss Universe China 2011, where she competed against thirty one other contestants, Zilin has worked as professional model. Aside from the title of Miss Universe China 2011, Zilin was also voted by Chinese public as the winner of Miss Popularity award.
Shakira Martin - JAMAICA (25 /172 cm)
Born in New York, Martin was raised between Florida and Jamaica, and completed her education at Broward College. She has been a pre-school teacher for many years. She competed at Miss Jamaica Universe 2011 which was held at the National Indoor Sports Centre in Kingston on 10 July 2011 and was crowned as the winner. But for Martin, winning the pageant is not all about beauty and fame, it also hands her with an opportunity to speak up to people about Sickle Cell Anemia. Being a victim of the disease herself, Marin is committed to use her title to support the other victims of Sickle Cell disease. Truly a beauty with a purpose!
Karin Ontiveros - MEXICO ( 23 /180 cm)
The daughter of Raúl Ontiveros and Paula Meza, Karín Ontiveros was born in Amatitán, Jalisco. She is an industrial design student at the CUAAD University of Guadalajara, and has two brothers. Ontiveros was crowned Nuestra Belleza Jalisco 2010 on 22 July 2010, and subsequently represented her state in the national competition, held in Saltillo, Coahuila, where she competed against thirty young women from all over the country. She became the third consecutive Nuestra Belleza México winner from Jalisco, and the fourth in the pageant's history. She was crowned by the outgoing national titleholder, and reigning Miss Universe 2010 Ximena Navarrete.
Catalina Robayo - COLOMBIA (22 /175 cm)
Born in Palmira, Valle del Cauca, Robayo is an eight-semester student ofLlaw at Pontifical Xavierian University in Cali. Prior to competing in Miss Colombia 2010, Robayo was given the chance to represent Valle in Miss Colombia 2009 when the original Miss Valle 2009, Diana Salgado, was forced to resign because "her body measures surpassed the normal requirements of the competition". Robayo only participated in the first week of the 2009 Miss Colombia pageant, after Salgado sued Valle del Cauca Department organizing committee, and regained the right to represent Valle in Miss Colombia 2009. A year later, Robayo competed once again as Miss Valle in her country's national pageant, Miss Colombia 2010, held in Cartagena on 15 November 2010, where she obtained the Miss Elegance award and the title of Miss Colombia 2010.
Jitka Novatckova - CZECH REP (19 /175 cm)
Born in České Budějovice, Nováčková is a high school student at Gymnáziu Jírovcova and started modeling at the age of 9. She was a semifinalist in Elite Model Look Czech Republic 2009 and the face of sports apparel manufacturer Nordlbanc and its 2009 spring/summer campaign for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Nováčková competed as one of 14 finalists in her country's national beauty pageant, Česká Miss, broadcast live by TV Prima on 19 March 2011 from Prague, where she was chosen by viewers via text messages as the eventual winner of the title.
Nikolina Loncar - MONTENEGRO ( 23 / 180 cm)
Nikolina competed as one of 15 finalists in her country's national beauty pageant, Miss Montenegro, held in Plavnica on 15 August 2009, where she placed as the First Runner Up and gained the right to represent her nation in the Miss Universe 2010. However due to several reasons, the organization decided to withdraw from the pageant. In 2011 the pageant organizer finally announced that Montenegro will return to Miss Universe and Nikolina is appointed as the official delegate once again.
Kerstin Cook - SWITZERLAND ( 22 /180 cm)
Born to English parents, Cook has been working as a model since age 15. A biology student and sales associate in Kriens, she's also an avid sportswoman, practicing athletics and inline skating. She's been dating FC Luzern player Silvan Büchli since 2007. Cook competed as one of the 12 finalists in her country's national beauty pageant, Miss Schweiz, held in Zürich, where she obtained the Miss Photogenic award and the crown of Miss Schweiz. Prior to finals night, Cook discovered her grandmother in Cambridge had a cancer recurrence, and would have to undergo chemotherapy. Unable to travel to England, Cook dedicated her participation in Miss Schweiz to her.
Alexandrya Evans - US VIRGIN ISLANDS ( 25 /165 cm)
Alexandrya Evans is a native of St. Croix. She competed at Miss Universe US Virgin Islands 2011 held at the Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort in St. Thomas on 5 June 2011 and was crowned as the winner, gaining the right to represent US Virgin Islands in Miss Universe 2011.
Betta Lipcsei - HUNGARY (23/172 cm)
Born in Szarvas, Betta currently lives in the capital city Budapest. She has been modeling since the age of 15. She is currently studying communication and speaks fluent English and basic Italian. Sports play a major role in the life of this Hungarian beauty. First, she works as a broadcaster for a football television program at Sport Television. Second, she also does sports regularly, particularly running and aerobics. Betta earns the right to represent Hungary at Miss Universe 2011 after she placed as the First Runner Up of A Szépségkirálynő 2011, the national beauty pageant of Hungary.
