One of the most important national male pageant in the world, Mister Brasil, starts its 2011 edition last Sunday. About 40 contestants representing various states and islands of Brazil will compete this year.The winner goes on to compete in Mister World, with the First and Second Runners Up representing Brazil at Manhunt International and Mister International, respectively. The final will be held on 7 May 2011, at the beautiful Hotel Novo Frade, in breathtaking seaside city of Angra dos Reis, and will be broadcast for the first time ever via TV UOL.
The pageant itself will last for a week and during that period, the contestants will participate at 6 preliminary events known as Fast Track, in which winner of each event will automatically qualify for semifinal round.The 6 events are Best Body, Sports Challenge, Talent, Best Model, Beauty with a Purpose, and Popularity.
