The pageant has produced several Miss World and Miss Universe finalists over the last decade, including Miss World 2001 winner Agbani Darego. The winner of the pageant will compete at Miss World 2012 with her two Runners Up competing at Miss Universe 2012 and Miss Tourism Queen International 2012.
