Exactly 61 years ago, on this very day, the world witnessed the birth of a new beauty contest who would later become the oldest and the biggest surviving international pageant, Miss World. In a tribute for Miss World anniversary as well as a celebration for the 62nd Miss World festival currently held in China, we have compiled pictures of Miss World titleholders for the past 61 years, starting from the winners of the first 30 editions (1951 - 1980).
