What is True Beauty? True beauty is when someone is not only beautiful outside but also beautiful inside. A person who does not look beautiful but also does beautiful things. In this chapter, we pay tribute for those people and take them as our inspiration in life - that something is only truly beautiful when it has a beautiful meaning for the others.

Natasha Metto
(Miss Kenya 2010)
Winner of the prestigious Miss World Beauty with a Purpose award in 2010, Natasha Metto dedicated her reign as Miss Kenya for those infected by jigger worm epidemic in her country. Working together with a social organization called Ahadi Kenya, Natasha has volunteered her time to educate people about the blood-sucking worm, which burrows under the skin of the foot causing irritation and damage. She visited the areas where the problem is most prevalent in a humanitarian mission to raise awareness of the necessary precautions to avoid the worm, as well as offering treatment to those affected.

Artika Sari Devi (Puteri Indonesia 2004)
Milk, specifically the human breast milk, is the primary source of nutrition for newborns before they are able to eat and digest other foods. It is very important for the newborns that even The World Health Organization recommends exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life. Realizing the importance of the human breast milk, Artika Sari Devi joined a campaign by Kemang Medical Care Hospital as an ambassador to promote exclusive breastfeeding. Through the campaign, Artika worked to help the newborns in Indonesia to get the best nutrition during the most critical time of their life.

Jennifer Reoch (Miss Scotland 2011)
Climbing Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, is never an easy thing to do. But that was exactly what Jennifer Reoch, a finalist at Miss World 2011 contest, did in order to raise donation for research into Parkinson's disease. The remarkable journey was part of "Tiara Appeal", a humanitarian project where Jennifer was involved and successfully raised £100,000 for her chosen charity. In the picture above, you could see Jennifer as she succeeded to reach the top of Kilimanjaro on 23 January 2011.

Nadine Zamira Sjarief (Miss Indonesia Earth 2009)
If there is a Miss Earth contestant who still consistently works to protect environment long after her reign is over, perhaps it is Nadine Zamira. Even today, two years after she is no longer the official titleholder of Miss Indonesia Earth, Nadine still passionately works for the "green" cause. One among many things that she has done is educating elementary school students about environment as you can see in the picture above.

Mister Earth 2011 contestants
The environment issue is now no longer exclusive among the female pageant contestants, but also among the male pageant contestants. One of the male pageant who dedicates itself for the cause is Mister Earth. As part of the platform, the pageant held a special forum where the contestants could discuss about various environmental problems around the world and how to solve it. In the picture above, you can see Mister France, Jordan Haag, as he made a plea in his presentation slide to make our world become more "green".
