The pageant was held on 1 March 2012 at Lima, Peru with 15 participating contestants representing various Peruvian departments. The winner of Mister Peru 2012 will represent Peru at the upcoming Mister World edition with the First Runner Up will be sent to Mister Universe Model 2012 and Second Runner Up to Manhunt International 2012.
