Miss World 2011 The Journey So Far Part 5

Almost two weeks have passed since the arrival of Miss World delegates in London. So what activities have they done so far? Check out the their journey in this part!

Visit to Cambridge University
Back in London, the girls got to visit one of the most famous academic institution in the world, the Cambridge University. They were invited to participate in a debate which covered a wide range of topics concerning the Miss World event and Beauty with a Purpose. Before the debate they were taken on a tour of Cambridge and the university campus, including a punting experience along the River Cam in gondola-style boats. The focus of the evening was the debate itself, held in the Cambridge Union Society, where the Miss World delegates talked about the social responsibility their titles hold in their respective countries. There was particular reference to the work of Beauty with a Purpose, the charitable element at the center of Miss World.
