With only about 3 months to go before the start of Miss World 2013 in Indonesia, here are 8 news, trivia, and gossips that we have gathered from around the newsphere about what can we expect for the upcoming pageant Grand Slam event!

#1 Grand Final
The Grand Final will be held at
Sentul International Convention Center (SICC) on 28 September 2013. Located at Sentul City, Bogor, West Java, about 48 km south of Indonesia's capital city Jakarta, SICC is a commercial conference hall built on a land area of 6.4 hectares with a building area of 22,000 square meters. Its main room, The Main Hall, can accomodate 11,000 people.
#2 Destination Bali
The contestants will spend almost 2 weeks of their time in the world-famous island of Bali. They are scheduled to visit Bali from 4 September to 15 September 2013. During their visit there, the contestants will stay at
The Westin Resort Nusa Dua. Most of the contestants activities in Bali will be focused around the area of Nusa Dua, famously known for its serene and magnificent beaches.
#3 Destination Yogyakarta
Aside from Bali and Jakarta, the contestants are also scheduled to visit the cultural city of Yogyakarta. The city is chosen as one of the many locations to be visited by the contestants due to its rich and vibrant cultural heritage.

#4 Opening Ceremony
Just like last year, an Opening Ceremony is scheduled to be held to welcome the contestants in Indonesia and signify the beginning of the month-long competition. The Ceremony will be held in Bali on 8 September 2013. There is still no official announcement about the exact venue of the Ceremony. However, it is strongly rumoured that it will be held at
Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) a 240 hectares private cultural park on the southern end of the island of Bali. The park is also visited by Julia Morley and Miss World Organization team during their visit to Indonesia back in February.
#5 Beach Fashion
Unlike in other editions, this year Miss World will not feature bikini for Beach Fashion event. Instead, the contestants will parade in Balinese beach sarong. The decision is made to respect the culture of Indonesian people. The local committee of Miss World in Indonesia has worked with several local artisans in Bali to provide 12 unique designs of sarong which will be worn by the contestants in September.
#6 World Fashion Designer
For this year World Fashion Designer event, which will likely be held in conjuction with Top Model event, the contestants will wear couture gowns with Byzantine theme designed by top Indonesian designers. To this end, the local committee of Miss World in Indonesia has launched a special website
www.missworld.okezone.com, where Indonesian designers can submit their design to be evaluated by the committee. If their designs meet the qualification set by the committee, they will be selected as part of the designer team to provide the gowns used by the contestants at World Fashion Designer event. World Fashion Designer is scheduled to be held in Jakarta on 20 September 2013.

#7 The International Singer
According to its Twitter account, @anggunesia the official fanbase of singer
Anggun, stated that the Indonesian-born international singer will be involved at the Grand Final of this year Miss World edition. It is still unclear whether she will be invited as a musical performer or a judge. But Anggun herself is no stanger to pageant scene as she has served as a judge for Miss France pageant back in 2009.
#8 The Judges
While the full list of judges has not been announced, it is already confirmed by the local committee that 2 members of the judges panel will be Indonesian. One of which will be

Mr Hary Tanoesoedibjo, the CEO of
Media Nusantara Citra, the exclusive partner of Miss World 2013 in Indonesia.
