So many women are failed to break "The Delaware's Curse" Do you believe that this woman would break it up? Here the interview with the state of Delamarva Peninsula, Katie Hanson Miss Delaware USA 2011



1. Could you tell us a lil bit about yourself?
I am 20 years old and am a full time student study criminal justice at the university of de! I intend on becoming a state trooper

2. If you showed me around your state (county, city, community, etc.), where would you take me? Why?
I would take you to Dover because not only is it the capital of de but it has an emmence amount of history there, and above all it is beautiful there!

3. Can you describe to us about Delaware looks like?
The part of Delaware that I live in is very populated with people and businesses, however, the more south you go the more rural it is. The southern part of Delaware is known for its chicken farms!




4 .Why were you interested to participate in Miss Delaware USA Pageant? Do you believe in Delaware's curse at Miss USA?
I have been interested in this pageant since I was a young girl and watch miss usa on t.v. I am very well aware of the delaware's curse and I intend on breaking that this year! Its time to show my country who Katie Hanson is!

5. In your point of you, how should a Miss USA be ?
A Miss USA should be a role model to all kinds of people across her country, as well as others. Its important to stay positive and act appropriatly because as Miss USA, you are in the spot light no matter what.



6. In some countries, a woman isn't allowed wearing swimsuit in a public, do you think the swimsuit round is derogatory to women?
I don't think the swimsuit portion of this pageant is derogatory to women at all. I am proud of my body and I work hard to keep it in shape. Wearing a swimsuit just showcases all that I have worked so hard for!

7. If you are given a dollar , what would you do with it?
If I was given a dollar I would probably go to Dunkin' Donuts and indulge myself in buying an iced coffee (I love those)

8. What is the craziest thing that ever happened in your life?
The craziest thing that has ever happened to me was when my house was struck by lightening and burned down. I lost a sufficient amount of memories in that fire, but the important thing is that my loved ones are still with me. Thank God for that.



9. If you could be on the cover of any magazine, which would you chose and why?
If I could be on the cover of a magazine I would have to choose Sports Illustrated. I am a very active individual and that magazine would reflect all of my hard work that I have done to my body to keep it looking flawless.

10. The world seems to be smaller, do you think of yourself first as the citizen of Delaware, USA, or the world?
I see myself as a resident in the state of Delaware but also as a proud American who intends on representing her country well.

Interview with Chelsea Morgensen Miss Texas Teen USA 2010

Texas, well known as the most successful state in the USA pageant system and also known as the friendship state which has a lot of hospitalize persons. In this occasion I’ve got luck to have an interview session with the past Title holder of Miss Texas Teen USA and Miss Photogenic Teen USA 2010 Chelsea Morgensen! Here we go guys ...



1. You are the first ever Miss Texas Teen USA to win Miss Photogenic Teen USA, how does it make you feel?
Being the first to win Miss Teen USA Photogenic award from Texas made me feel very proud and grateful to have so many people who loved and supported me throughout my pageant year. The trip to Los Angeles for the People's Choice Awards will be a memory I will cherish and remember forever.

2. In your point of view, can you describe what Texas looks like?
Texas is a remarkable place, with the friendliest people. It has so much diversity in its population, culture and terrain. We have valleys, mountains, flat lands, over miles situated on the Gulf of Mexico, plains, grass lands and the beautiful hill country. Texas has heavily populated metropolitan areas such as Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio. It has huge ranch areas which produce oil, gas and cattle.



3. Interesting to join Miss Texas USA pageant?
I have considered competing in the Miss division in the USA system. At the moment, I am not certain if I will but if I do, you will be one of the first to know:)

4. Between you Mom and your Dad, who is influence your life more?
Both of my parents have definitely influenced my life, but I think my Mom has influenced me more. I have spent a lot more time with her, especially in the last few years because of being in pageants and starting my modeling career.




5. What is the craziest moment during your reign as Miss Texas Teen USA?
The craziest thing during my reign as Miss Texas Teen USA had to of been driving over 16,000 miles all over the state of Texas with my mom to make appearances and travel for pageant training.

6. What serves you better in life, your title and crown, your experience, or your education?
Definitely my experiences. Life is all about learning from what you do and what you make of it. My year as Miss Texas Teen USA was a memory of a life time and it has opened many doors for me and has made a big impact on my life.




7. Which state in your prediction will win Miss USA 2011?
Well of course I want for Ana Rodriguez, Miss Texas USA to win. There are so many very beautiful women competing for the title, and I know that whoever wins will represent the USA beautifully at Miss Universe!

8. The last one: we know that today the world seems to be smaller, we can connect to another people in another country easily. what do you think of your self first, the citizen of your state , your country, or the world?
I feel first like a Texas girl. I'm also very proud of the wonderful country i live in, and would love to see the world at peace and come together as one.

Mister Universe Model 2011 Part 7 : Tribute to Tarik Kaljanac

Tarik Kaljanac is perhaps one of the most beautiful man ever lived. This Bosnian man is a sample of perfection, with a handsome face, a hot body, and a fresh look of eternal youth. He was only 20 years old when he won the title of Mister Universe Model 2010 and even more amazing he did them all by himself. Tarik did not have any national director or organizer so he had to prepare everything for the pageant alone and still he won it. A very well deserved victory for a very well deserving champion. In a commemoration of his last day as Mister Universe Model, we dedicate this corner as special homage to Tarik, take a look!

Mister Universe Model Part 6 : The Final Leaderboard

Only one day left before the final of Mister Universe Model 2011 and it is time to make our final choice. Based on regional perspective, this competition is a battle between Latin Americans and Europeans, with some Asian and African dark horse as possible upset. From all contestants, we have picked 5 contestants whom we think stand out among others. Brazil is tan and super exotic, South Africa has the model vibe and the experience (he was semifinalist at Manhunt International 2010), Mexico has one the best figure in the competition (he was a nominee for Best Body award), Belgium is stunning and perhaps has the best face in the entire competition, and last but not least, Venezuela with a perfect combination of handsome face, hunky body, and charming persona. And from those 5 our final choice goes to Venezuela.

So why Venezuela? Venezuela has maintained a strong and close relationship with the organizer of the pageant. Since the very first edition, they have consistently sent competitive contestants and promoted the publication of the pageants. But they have never won ... yet. Last year Edgar Moreno came close to grab the title for Venezuela. Too bad he had to compete in the same year against the ultra stunning Tarik Kaljanac. Now that the competition is not as strong as last year, and with another strong and deserving delegate such as Juan Pablo Gomez, we guess it's time for the organizer to say "thank you" to Venezuela and gives them the long overdue title.

Back to Past Moment : The Diva Cleopatra

A contestant of Miss World 1953, Marina Papaelia from Egypt, is probably one of the most controversial contestant in Miss World history. A clear favorite to win the crown that time, she was perhaps famous for her “diva” personality. Her undeniable beauty catapulted Marina to Top 6 placement, but perhaps it was her attitude that prevented her to win. She only placed as 2nd Runner Up, beaten by a girl who even had never worn make-up before the contest, Denise Perrier from France.

However the story doesn't stop there. Expecting herself to win, Marina screamed, threw a tantrum, and screamed "I theenk she steenk" about the winner Miss France and then and fainted in disappointment when she only placed as 2nd Runner Up. This Diva Cleopatra certainly didn't take her loss easily.

14 years later, in his book “The Miss World Story” published in 1967, creator of Miss Word contest Eric Morley wrote a special section about Marina, telling that “...despite the headaches and frights she gave me at the time I shall always remember her as one of the outstanding figures, in every way, among all those who have entered the contest at any time.”

So future pageant competitors, remember no matter how gorgoeus you are, attitude still matters!

Mister Universe Model 2011 Part 4 : The Second Leaderboard

After the candid pictures of the contestants released on Belleza Venezolana, we made several changes to the second Leaderboard. Brazil is no longer the leader. He is now in second place with Belgium rising to the first place. France takes a significant jump to fifth place while USA is out of the board.
